Fortunately, we’ve got you covered with three delectable vegan ice cream recipes, also known as “nice cream,” that you can easily make at home. These recipes feature bananas, making them naturally sweet, affordable, creamy, and simple to prepare. All you’ll need are frozen bananas, a food processor, and a few additional ingredients to create these delightful dairy-free alternatives to ice cream.

Strawberry Banana Nice Cream
Servings: 2
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Food Processor
Ingredients
2 large ripe bananas, sliced and frozen overnight
2 cups, frozen strawberries
Preparation
Add frozen banana slices and frozen strawberries to a food processor and blend for about a minute until smooth. Serve right away for a soft serve consistency, or store in the freezer, in a container with an air-tight lid, for about 90 minutes for a scoop-able texture.
Banana Pudding Nice Cream
Servings: 6-8
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Food Processor
Ingredients
4 large ripe bananas, sliced and frozen overnight
½ - 1 cup plant-based milk of your choice
10-15 vanilla sandwich cookies, roughly chopped - check for vegan ingredients
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 fresh ripe banana, sliced
Vegan whipped cream, optional
Preparation
Add plant-based milk and the instant vanilla pudding mix to a bowl and whisk together until well combined. Use ⅓ cup of the plant milk for a thicker soft serve consistency that you can eat right away or use 1 cup of the plant milk for a thinner blended result that will need to sent in the freezer for scooping.
Add frozen bananas and the pudding mixture to the food processor and blend for about a minute. Alternate with pulsing and blending to work through any lumps that may form.
Once mostly smooth, add the vanilla sandwich cookies to the food processor and pulse a few times to incorporate throughout the nice cream.
Add the banana pudding nice cream mixture to a container with an airtight lid. Top with additional banana slices and more vanilla sandwich cookie pieces for texture.
Allow to set in the freezer for 3-4 hours to achieve the ideal texture.
Scoop to serve and garnish with even more fresh banana slices, vanilla sandwich cookies and a dollop of vegan whipped cream.
Peach Crumble Nice Cream
Servings: 6
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Food Processor
Ingredients
4 large ripe bananas, sliced and frozen overnight
1-15 oz can sliced peaches, drained (you can also used 2 cups fresh or frozen peach slices)
2 cups vegan granola cereal
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
Add frozen bananas, ground cinnamon, and half of the peaches to the food processor and blend for about a minute. Alternate with pulsing and blending to work through any lumps that may form.
Once mostly smooth, add the remaining peaches and half of the granola to the food processor and pulse a few times to incorporate throughout the nice cream.
Add the peach crumble nice cream mixture to a container with an airtight lid. Top with the remaining granola for texture.
Allow to set in the freezer for 3-4 hours to achieve the ideal texture.
Scoop to serve and garnish with even more granola for extra crunch.
